Wanted for Grand Larceny
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Westhampton Beach Police Department detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the person or people who stole a fuel cell from a public parking lot.
A fuel cell containing more than 500 gallons of diesel fuel was stolen from the parking lot at Lashley Beach on Dune Road in Westhampton Beach sometime between November 18 at 4 p.m. and November 19 at 6 a.m. The fuel cell has a tracking number of 528TC27 and weighed in excess of 6500 pounds at the time of the theft.
