Serious Injury Traffic Collision
INCIDENT: TRAFFIC COLLISION

On December 5, 2019, at 5:11 PM, Pomona Police dispatch received a call of a vehicle versus bicyclist traffic collision in the area of Park Ave and Pearl St. When officers arrived on scene, they located a male down in lanes of traffic. The male was unresponsive and appeared severely injured.
Pomona Police Officers and LA County Fire Department rendered aid, and the bicyclist was transported to a local hospital where he is presently listed in critical condition. The bicyclist has been identified as 35 year old Pomona resident, McKenzie Story.
The driver, Sergio Galvan, has cooperated fully with investigating officers, and was determined to not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the collision.
