The Anacortes Police and Fire Departments will be hosting a joint training exercise at the First Baptist Church on 2717 J Avenue on Thursday, December 5th. The training will begin around 11AM and continue until approximately 5PM. Emergency responders will be utilizing emergency vehicles, realistic looking training weapons, and role players as part of the exercise that will affect the otherwise peaceful dynamic in the neighborhood. There is no need for alarm.
