On 07/02/2019, a shooting into a residence occurred on the 100 Block of E. Pearl Drive in Port Hueneme. At the time of the shooting, a family of five were inside the residence, including three juveniles. As a result, a juvenile female and her mother were struck by bullets. The motivation for the shooting is unknown; however detectives believe the shooting is possibly gang related. This investigation is ongoing and detectives are seeking public assistance. Anyone who has information regarding this crime is encouraged to call detectives. Ventura County Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 reward for information, which leads to the arrest and criminal complaint against the person(s) responsible for this crime.
