Wilmington Police have arrested two Pennsylvania men on gun and drug charges.

On November 24 at approximately 1:43 p.m. patrol officers were in the area of 4^th and Pine Streets on an investigation.  During the investigation, a vehicle stop was conducted in the 400 block of Lombard Street.  Two of the occupants – 24-year-old Eric Bruton and 24-year-old Deshown Vickers – both of Pennsylvania, were found to be possession of marijuana and both were in possession of a firearm.  They were taken into custody without incident.  Police recovered two (2) 9mm handguns and 8.1 grams of marijuana.

Bruton was charged with the following offenses:

• Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
• Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited
• Possession of a Weapon in a Safe School Zone
• Possession of Marijuana

He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $18,001 cash-only bail.

Vickers was charged with the following offenses:

• Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
• Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited
• Possession of a Weapon in a Safe School Zone
• Possession of Marijuana

He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $18,001 cash-only bail.
