* TIMING...Beginning 6:00 AM Friday November 29. Expires at 6:00 AM Saturday November 30.
* AFFECTED AREA... All of the San Juan Mountains including...San Miguel Mountains...Rico Mountains...Uncompahgre Plateau and Dallas Divide...La Garita Mountains...La Plata Mountains...Needle Mountains...Grenadier Range
* AVALANCHE DANGER...The avalanche danger is HIGH (Level 4 of 5). Avalanches large enough to bury a person are likely today and some will run naturally. The most dangerous period will be late this afternoon and the most dangerous slopes will be north to east- facing.
* REASON... Intense snowfall and strong winds will result in very dangerous avalanche conditions.
