Festival of Lights Parade tonight 6pm. Downtown parking restrictions starting at 3pm. Jackson, Columbus, Lafayette & LaSalle Streets.

Just a reminder that the 2019 City of Ottawa annual Festival of Lights Parade is scheduled for Friday, November 29 beginning at 6 P.M.

The parade will begin at the south end of LaSalle Street and proceed north to Washington Square Park.

The units will turn east onto West Jackson Street.

Entertainment by the Friendly City Sound and the lighting of the park will follow.

PLEASE NOTE:

On Friday, prior to the parade “no parking” signs will be posted on the following streets:

*Jackson Street
between LaSalle Street and Columbus Street
no parking in that block after 3 P.M.

*Columbus Street
900 block, west side of street
no parking in that block after 4 P.M.

*Lafayette St.
between LaSalle Street & Columbus Street
no parking in that block after 4 P.M.

*LaSalle Street
*700, 800, and 900 blocks
no parking in these blocks after 4 P.M.

Vehicles parked in any of the above spaces will be towed at owner’s expense

NOTE: Illinois 23/LaSalle Street, from Lafayette Street to Lincoln Place will be temporarily closed from 5:45 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. on Friday, November 29, 2019 for the purpose of the Festival of Lights Parade.
