Shooting Incident Update from Ridgeland. One suspect just arrested, charged w/Attempted Murder. 
Shooting Incident Update!!! Last evening after 11pm, Deputies and Detectives responded to the area of Captain Bill Rd. regarding a drive by shooting resulting in a occupied house being struck. Community cooperation has helped with the identifying of Javonte' Heyward. Detectives and Deputies in our VICE, Criminal Investigations and K9 Units were able to locate and arrest Heyward without incident. Heyward is being charged with several counts of Attempted Murder and the Use of a Firearm During a Violent Crime. "I have instructed my Deputies and Detectives to find those responsible for hurting our community and bring them to justice. We will press forward"-Sheriff Chris Malphrus
