On November 25, 2019, at 12:18 p.m. Deputy U.B. Smith and Deputy Jennifer Loesch went to the 500 block of West State Road 68 near Haubstadt to serve an arrest warrant for Possession of Methamphetamines on 45 year old Brandy Murnahan of Haubstadt. Upon arriving at the residence Deputy Smith and Loesch saw drug paraphernalia sitting in plain view inside the apartment. At that point they began a drug investigation that resulted in Ms. Murnahan being taken into custody for the warrant and a search of the residence to locate additional illegal items. At the conclusion of their investigation Deputy Smith transported Ms. Murnahan to the Gibson County Jail where she was charged with an additional count of Possession of Methamphetamines and a count of Possession of Paraphernalia. She remains in custody on a on a $1500 bond. $750 for the Possession of Methamphetamines warrant and $750 for the new charges.
