Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a woman who used counterfeit currency in Nesconset in October.
A woman entered CVS, located at 232 Smithtown Blvd., at approximately 8:10 p.m. on October 26 and used a counterfeit $100 bill to purchase approximately $6 in merchandise and receive cash back. The woman is described as white or Hispanic with a rose tattoo on her hand and finger.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
