Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau detectives are continuing their investigation into the shooting death of a male Black adult that occurred on 1900 Block of East Pine Street, Compton on Saturday, November 23, 2019, at approximately 12:40 P.M.

Detectives have learned that deputies assigned to Compton Station responded to the location regarding a gunshot victim call.  Upon their arrival, they located the victim who suffered from at least one gunshot wound to the upper torso.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

There is no known motive or suspect information at this time.

The investigation is ongoing. There is no other information available at this time.

Sheriff’s Homicide investigators are responding to the 1900 Block of East Pine Street, Compton to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a male adult which occurred on Saturday, November 23, 2019, at approximately 12:40 P.M.
 
The investigation is ongoing, and there is no additional information available at this time.
