Noblesville, IN – On November 20, 2019 at approximately 12:19 p.m., police officers and firefighters from the Noblesville Police & Fire Departments responded to the 100 block of N. 8th Street (Noblesville) in reference to a report of an injured person.

Emergency responders arrived on the scene a short time later and located a male subject suffering from traumatic injuries associated with an apparent fall. A number of deputies from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department, as well as several citizens, were all providing aid to the victim immediately after the incident occurred. A short time later, the victim was transported by ground ambulance to Riverview Health (Noblesville) where he was later pronounced dead.

The victim was a contracted worker from Winterland Inc. (Marion, IN) and was tasked with installing holiday decorations on city light poles on the downtown square in Noblesville. He has been identified as Ryan Scott Herring, 21, of Gas City, IN.

Investigators are assisting the Hamilton County Coroner’s in this ongoing investigation.
