Starting Thursday, November 21st, motorists and pedestrians will notice a change in the operation of the traffic signal at the intersection of Main Street and Chestnut Street in the City of Oneonta. The traffic signal has been optimized to enhance motorist and pedestrian safety.
Pedestrians will have additional lead time to begin crossing and clear the roadway before vehicles are released by the signal. Motorists in each direction will run separately through the intersection.
