...Dense Fog Developing Across Central Illinois... .Clear skies and light winds will combine with low level moisture left over from the rain that occurred early today to create ideal conditions for the development of dense fog. Initial development will occur tonight across west central Illinois. As clouds clear across other parts of central and into east central Illinois, additional areas of dense fog could develop during the overnight hours. The fog should dissipate during the morning hours. The National Weather Service in Lincoln has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 9 AM CST Wednesday.
* VISIBILITY...Visibilities 1/4 mile or less is expected.
* IMPACTS...Low visibilities will make for hazardous driving conditions across the area. Use low beams and allow extra driving time to reach destinations tonight and during the morning commute.
