Red Flag Warning/PSPS 
The National Weather Service has posted a Red Flag Warning for Wed/Thursday due to the dry conditions and high winds at the higher elevations. This is expected to affect the East Bay hills. The warning takes effect from 4:00 a.m. Wednesday through 7:00 a.m. Thursday.
Because of the dry conditions, residents are reminded to exercise caution when using motorized vehicles (lawnmowers etc) outdoors and when doing any outdoor cooking.
Additionally, PG&E has announced another Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) affecting residents in 22 counties. While Contra Costa County is on the list of affected zones, Danville is not one of the municipalities listed.
