PSPS UPDATE: Novato NOT Expected to be Impacted by PG&E's 11/20/19 PSPS Event. Please STAY PREPARED.
At 9:55AM this morning, PG&E informed the City of Novato and the Novato Police Department that the potential Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) event is NOT expected to impact the City of Novato. We will continue to monitor weather conditions and provide updates as we receive.
As information from PG&E is subject to change without warning, due to unpredictable weather, we as residents of Novato need to stay prepared.
We warn our residents to please be fire safe during the upcoming Red Flag warning (begining Wednesday 11/20 at 4:00AM) and to exercise caution when operating heavy machinery, smoking or if cooking outdoors.
