Person arrested with a concealed firearm 
On November 14th at 9:24 pm, officers stopped a bicyclist for a vehicle code violation on the 1600 block of 62nd Street. While speaking with the bicyclist, the bicyclist suddenly ran away. The officers caught up with the bicyclist soon after when he tried to climb over a fence. When the officers pulled the bicyclist from the fence, the bicyclist discarded something over the fence. When officers searched the other side of the fence, they located a handgun. The bicyclist (a 24-year-old Berkeley man) was arrested on suspicion of carrying a concealed handgun, resisting arrest and violation of probation.
