Update:
Jackson Police are investigating the homicidal death of Titus Black a seventy-two-year-old black male who was found suffering from a traumatic event inside of his apartment which is located inside of 181 E. Chester Avenue, The New Southern. Again, Mr. Black’s death has been ruled a homicide.
On, November 16th around 10:40 a.m., Jackson Police were dispatched to 181 E. Chester to investigate the death of an elderly male subject. Based upon preliminary evidence, Jackson Police Investigators do not believe this was a random act of violence. The body of Mr. Black has been sent for an autopsy.
This is an active and ongoing investigation. Jackson Police are offering a $1000 reward for information that leads to the apprehension of the suspect.
