New Lenox Police want to remind people to be mindful of their surroundings as the shopping season begins.  At this time, NOTHING has happened in New Lenox.  This following incident occurred this morning at approx. 5:00 AM in Frankfort: an armed robbery occurred in the 20800 block of south LaGrange Rd.  The victim was approached by a male offender with a gun who approached her after exiting from a separate vehicle.  The offender had the victim withdraw money from the ATM.  The offender then left with the victim in her car and made several stops to obtain additional goods and money.  The victim was not physically harmed during this incident.  Two of the offenders were described as follows: Offender #1: Male black, thin build, between 5'8"-5'10", wearing blue sweatpants and black hoodie.  Offender #2: Male black, between 5'5"-5'7" wearing a dark colored winter coat with a fur trimmed collar.  Third offender is unknown.  The offenders drove a black Mercedes SUV.  If you have any information contact the FRANKFORT Police Department.
