Traffic stop leads to arrest of Princeton man.

On November 14, 2019, at 8:29 p.m. Deputy U.B. Smith conducted a traffic stop on a Black 2011 Chevy Pickup truck for having no or improper headlights while traveling near the intersection of Main Street and Ohio Street in Princeton. Upon approaching the vehicle Deputy Smith identified the driver as 39- year-old Bradley Woods of Princeton. Upon running Mr. Woods through the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles Deputy Smith discovered that Mr. Woods operator’s license status was listed as suspended on a prior driving while suspended conviction. At that point Deputy Smith placed Mr. Woods into custody and transported him to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the Gibson County Jail Mr. Woods was charged with Driving While Suspended/Prior. He remains in custody on a $650 bond.

Assisting Deputy Smith in his investigation was Princeton Officer Lincoln Edwards.

All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
