...Winter Weather Advisory Until Midnight CST... .A strong Arctic cold front is moving through the Mid-South and bringing rain that will change over to a mixture of sleet and snow. Minor accumulations are expected. In addition, rain from earlier this afternoon may freeze and cause black ice in some spots. The National Weather Service in Memphis has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for a mixture of sleet and snow, which is in effect until midnight CST tonight.

* TIMING... Through Midnight CST.

* MAIN IMPACT...Total sleet and snow accumulation of 1 inch is expected in most locations, however isolated spots in excess of 1 inch are possible.

* OTHER IMPACTS...Moisture from earlier rains may freeze on bridges and other elevated surfaces.
