Route 100 in Macungie Borough closed from Maple to Chestnut St while a utility pole is replaced. 
***Update****
A utility pole in the 600 block E Main St is requiring replacement as a result of a motor vehicle accident earlier this date. Traffic is expected to be detoured throughout the evening. Route 100 is expected to reopen by the morning rush hour.
Route 100 in Macungie Borough between Chestnut and Maple St closed until PPL can fix a severed pole. Traffic is being detoured but avoidance of the area is suggested.
At this time there is no time estimate of when the road will reopen.
