INCIDENT: H&S 11378, Possession for sales, H&S 11370.1, Possession of methamphetamine and firearm, PC 29800(a)(1), Felon in possession of a firearm, PC 496, Possession of stolen property, PC 30305(a)(1), Felon in possession of ammunition
LOCATION: 1500 block of Highland Street, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Melina Garcia 39-year-old, female, resident of Needles, CA
SUMMARY: Deputies from the Colorado River Station served a search warrant for narcotics at Garcia's residence. During the search, evidence indicative of the sales of narcotics was recovered. A stolen firearm and ammunition were also located inside the home.
Garcia is a convicted felon and she is prohibited from possessing either firearms or ammunition. Garcia was arrested and booked into the Colorado River Station Jail without incident. Her bail was set at $50,000.00.
