16-year-old burglary suspect arrested after evading deputies while driving a stolen car.

LOCATION: Broadway St. and E Street, Needles
SUSPECT(S): 16-year-old, male, resident of Beaumont (name withheld)
SUMMARY: On November 09, 2019, at 10:11 pm, deputies located a stolen vehicle driving in the area of Broadway Street and G Street in the City of Needles. Deputies attempted to stop the vehicle and the juvenile driver sped away. The vehicle became disabled while trying to evade the deputies and the driver was arrested without further incident.
The suspect was also found to have an outstanding Riverside County warrant for burglary. He was charged with possession of stolen property and evading arrest. He was taken to the High Desert Juvenile Detention and Assessment Center in Apple Valley. He is being held without bail, as is standard for juvenile offenders.
