PSE&G Tree Pruning:
PSE&G will be trimming trees on Clinton Street, 8th Street, Willow Avenue, 12th Street, 7th Street, Park Street, and 9th Street from 8 AM - 4 PM, Tuesday 11/12/19 through Friday 11/15/19. PSE&G has provided informational door-hangers to notify residents next to affected trees. The tree trimming does not include the removal of any trees; only pruning. This work is required every 4 years by the NJ Board of Public Utilities because keeping power lines clear of vegetation is crucial to the safety and reliability of electric service. 
 
Water Infrastructure Upgrades:
The following street closures will occur next week during the hours of 8 AM - 4 PM, for the excavation and installation of new water mains:

• Garden Street between 1^st  Street and 2^nd Street and 1^st Street between Bloomfield Street and Garden Street will be closed on Tuesday 11/12/19 and Wednesday 11/13/19. The contractor will be working in the intersection at Garden Street and 1st Street during those days. Traffic heading East on 1^st Street will be detoured to turn South on Garden Street during this time.
• Garden Street will be closed between 1^st Street and 2^nd Street on Thursday 11/14/19 and Friday 11/15/19.

Northwest Resiliency Park:
Installation of sheet piling for the 1 million gallon underground storage tank will continue for several weeks. There will be some noise and vibration associated with this work. 12th Street will close permanently between Madison Street and Jefferson Street beginning Tuesday 11/12/19 for the Northwest Resiliency Park, where a multi-purpose athletic field will be constructed.
The following traffic circulation changes will also go into effect on Tuesday 11/12/19. 

• 10th Street will be westbound between Madison and Jefferson
• 11th Street will be eastbound between Monroe and Jefferson
• 12th Street will be eastbound between Jefferson and Adams
• Jefferson Street will be northbound between 11th and 12th Street

On Tuesday 11/12/19, the roads above will be closed to all vehicular traffic and parking will be restricted to effectuate these circulation changes with new traffic signage and markings.
Variable message signs will be deployed at Madison Street just north of 13th Street (facing southbound traffic) and 11th Street just west of Adams Street (facing westbound traffic).

Church Square Park Northwest Entrance will be closed on November 12 through 14 for Construction of Drainage Improvements
The Northwest entrance of Church Square Park will be closed from 11/12/19 – 11/14/19 for construction of drainage improvements near the spray area. Pedestrians will be directed to 5^th Street, rather than through the park. The sidewalks near the spray area and the northwest grass area will be closed from 8 AM - 4 PM those days. Residents are advised not to cross the construction perimeter to ensure public safety.
