Weekend events to impact traffic across Beaufort County. Please see the attached narrative and maps.

Several community events will affect traffic flow across Beaufort County on Saturday, November 9.

Hilton Head Island
The 28th Annual Hilton Head Bridge Run starts at 8:00 a.m. Runners and walkers for the 10k and 5k events will be utilizing Arrow Rd, Target Rd, Palmetto Bay Road from Target Rd to the Cross Island Parkway toll booth and a portion of Marshland Rd at the interchange for the Cross Island Parkway. Cones will be set up and deputies will be directing traffic for associated lane closures.

Saint Helena Island
The 37th Annual Penn Center Heritage Days parade takes places on Saturday morning on Saint Helena Island. The route goes from St. Helena Elementary School to the Penn Center Historic Landmark District. Sea Island Parkway from Ball Park Road to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive will be closed to vehicles from 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. In addition, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive from Sea Island Parkway to Club Bridge Road will also be closed to vehicular traffic between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

The annual Veterans Day Parade in Beaufort begins at 10:00 a.m on Saturday, November 9. The following route will be closed to vehicles during the parade:
Boundary Street from the Beaufort National Cemetery to Carteret Street to Bay Street
Bay Street from Carteret Street to Bladen Street.
