Deputies observed two vehicles street racing and arrested Christian Gomez for speed contest

DATE: November 7, 2019 / 11:40 p.m.
INCIDENT: VC 23109 - Speed Contest

LOCATION: 4th St. and Buffalo Ave.

SUSPECT: Christian Gomez, 26-years-old of Fontana

On November 7th at 11:40 p.m. deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department observed two vehicles stopped at a red light. When the light turned green, both vehicles engaged in a speed contest. One of the vehicles, a blue Nissan 350Z, spun its tires and fishtailed. Deputies were able to conduct a traffic stop on that vehicle and identified the driver as Christian Gomez. After their investigation, Gomez was arrested and booked in at the West Valley Detention Center. Gomez’ car was impounded.
