Deputy assists Wildlife officers and finds suspect with 4 grams of meth 
Deputy Steven McPeters of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Anthony Len Gilliland, 32, address listed as BR Drive in Marion, with possession of methamphetamine.
Shortly after 6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 20, McPeters responded to Old Fort-Sugar Hill Road to assist officers with N.C. Wildlife Resources.
The officers ran into Gilliland in the area, and a subsequent search of his person uncovered 4 grams of methamphetamine.
