ONE ARRESTED IN HOME INVASION ROBBERIES
INVESTIGATORS SEEKING INFORMATION ON OUTSTANDING SUSPECTS

INCIDENT: PC 212.5 – Home Invasion Robberies

LOCATION: San Jacinto area of Riverside County – September 20th/ 8:52 a.m.
57000 block of Buena Suerte Rd., Yucca Valley – October 1st/ 12:32 p.m.
6700 Block of Di Carlo Place, Rancho Cucamonga – October 3rd/ 8:49 p.m.

SUSPECTS: Jeffery Taylor-Thompson, 28-years-old, resident of Highland(in-custody)
Two unidentified black males

SUMMARY:
During these investigations, detectives began sharing information and soon found there were similarities and a significant amount of evidence identifying Jeffery Taylor-Thompson as a suspect in all three cases.

On Monday, October 21, 2019, Taylor-Thompson was contacted by troopers from the Nevada Highway Patrol in Las Vegas, Nevada and arrested on unrelated charges. He was also charged with violating the terms of his probation and booked into the Las Vegas Metropolitan Detention Center, where he is being held without bail. He was found to be on Post Release Community Supervision(PRCS) in San Bernardino County at the time of the robberies and on felony probation in the State of Nevada for weapons possession charges. At the conclusion of his criminal case in Nevada, Taylor-Thompson will be extradited back to California.

Two unidentified suspects remain outstanding and detectives are asking for assistance from the public to identify those suspects.

Case summaries –
San Jacinto, Riverside County:
*On September 20, 2019 at 8:52 am, at a residence in the San Jacinto area of Riverside County, the victim was approached in her front yard by two black males, armed with handguns. The suspects forced the victim into her residence, where they robbed her of several valuable possessions.
Yucca Valley:
*On October 1, 2019 at 12:32 pm, in the 57000 block of Buena Suerte Rd. in the Town of Yucca Valley, the victim, an elderly and disabled Veteran was home alone when two masked suspects forced entry into his home. The victim was forced to the rear of his home and the suspects robbed him of his valuable possessions, to include stealing his wedding band from his finger. The property, a wedding band and iPad were pawned and later recovered and returned to the victim.

Rancho Cucamonga:
On Thursday, October 3, 2019 at approximately 8:49 p.m., deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department responded to the 6700 block of Di Carlo Place for a report of a home invasion robbery. The investigation revealed that several black male suspects approached the residence armed with an unknown type handgun and contacted the victims in the garage. The suspects used a pepper spray type of chemical agent to spray the victims’ faces, including the minor children, then restrained the entire family by securing their hands together with plastic zip-ties. The suspects robbed the victims of their valuable possessions and fled.

Detectives are continuing their investigations and urge anyone with information, specifically regarding the identities of the two outstanding suspects, to contact any of the detectives listed below.
