Search Warrant Leads to Discovery of Methamphetamine, Firearm

On Tuesday, October 29, 2019, after a month-long investigation, the Fairfield Police Department’s Special Operations Team executed a narcotic based search warrant in the 2700 block of N. Texas St. in Fairfield. Detectives located approximately .5 ounces of suspected Methamphetamines, equipment used for the sale of narcotics, a semi-automatic handgun, a high capacity magazine, and ammunition. The occupants of the residence, a 50-year-old female and a 38-year-old male, both of Fairfield, are convicted felons and prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition.  One of the occupants was taken into custody at the residence, the second suspect was not home.  A criminal complaint for the second suspect was submitted to the Solano County District Attorney’s Office.
