On October 29, 2019, deputies with the Kern Valley Substation served a warrant on the 2500 block of Smith Lane in Lake Isabella.
40-year-old James Shelton was found to have 150 grams of methamphetamine, 21 grams of heroin, and cash. The drugs were found taped under Shelton’s car.
Shelton was arrested for possession of methamphetamine for sale, resisting arrest, disobey a court order, and other drug charges.
Two additional people in the residence were arrested. 24-year-old Ashley Duncan was arrested for resisting arrest, disobey a court order, and four misdemeanor warrants. 27-year-old Saecha Gray was arrested for resisting arrest and disobey a court order.
