* WHAT...Areas of east to northeast winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 60 mph through this evening. Gusts to 80 mph near and below the Cajon and San Gorgonio Passes and near the coastal slopes of the Santa Ana Mountains. Winds not as strong tonight through Thursday at 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 50 mph, and diminishing further Thursday afternoon and evening.
* WHERE...Coastal slopes of the mountains into the adjacent valleys and inland Orange County. Strongest gusts near and below the Cajon and San Gorgonio Passes and near the coastal slopes of the Santa Ana Mountains.
* WHEN...Until 3 PM PDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Damaging winds possible with downed trees and power lines. Power outages are possible. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
