Princeton woman arrested for driving while a Habitual Traffic Violator.

On October 29, 2019, at 6:19 p.m. Deputy Zach Lienemann conducted a traffic stop on US 41 near County Road 350 South on a Black 2013 Dodge Journey. Upon approaching the vehicle Deputy Lienemann identified the driver as 41-year-old Amanda Wampler of the rural Princeton area. During a roadside investigation Deputy Lienemann ran Ms. Wampler through the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles and discovered that Ms. Wampler was operating the vehicle while her license status listed her as a Habitual Traffic Violator. At that point Deputy Lienemann placed Ms. Wampler into custody and she was transported to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the jail Ms. Wampler was charged with operating while a Habitual Traffic Violator. She has since posted a $750 bond.

Assisting Deputy Lienemann in his investigation was Princeton Officer Matt Perry and Sgt. Bryan Ellis of the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office.

All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
