Sheriff Richard J. Behnke reports on October 28th 2019 at approximately 4:36PM his deputies responded to a personal injury crash on Hathaway Rd near Church St, Cass County, Michigan. Donna Wright, 30 year old of Marcellus was traveling northbound on Hathaway when she moved closer to the side of the road to make room for another vehicle approaching. While doing so, Wright’s vehicle entered into a small culvert in the roadway, lost control, and struck a tree. Edwardsburg Ambulance transported Wright to Borgess Kalamazoo Hospital for her injuries. Seatbelts were worn and alcohol and or drugs do not appear to be a factor. This crash remains under investigation.

Assisting at the scene were Edwardsburg Ambulance, Wayne Township Fire Department, and Dowagiac Fire Department.
