First, the Weather Service expects high winds to begin around 8:00 a.m. tomorrow and last until 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. They will be strongest between 4:00 p.m. tomorrow afternoon and early Wednesday morning. They are not expected to be as strong as what we just experienced, particularly in the lower elevations, but will increase risks from fire and lead to another power shut off.

Second, according to PG&E, the power shut off is not expected to affect Rohnert Park. The best way to get information on affected locations is to use the PG&E address locator: https://psps.ss.pge.com/
PG&E has begun restoring power to those already shut off but this will take considerable time. They report that they are unable to inspect many lines from the air because of the smoke from the fires. They are also finding numerous damaged lines which require repairs before they can be activated.

Finally, as those who have evacuated begin returning home we expect to see very heavy traffic on Highway 101 from the south, and on Highway 116.
