Deputies Participate in Week of Caring 
Deputies with the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office teamed up with the Rutherford Housing Partnership during the Week of Caring to assist a local resident.
The Week of Caring, October 19-26, is sponsored by the Rutherford Housing Partnership and focuses on enhancing the homes and yards of citizens in our community. Volunteers perform a variety of tasks such as yard work, painting and general repairs to the homes of deserving residents.
On October 24, deputies shared their time and skills by installing a wheelchair ramp for an elder adult. After several hours of hard work and camaraderie, a very deserving woman had a safe and easier way of enjoying her home.
