Fire update and Public Safety Shutoff information

The City of Cloverdale continues to monitor the progress of the Kincade fire that started on Wednesday, October 23rd, Northeast of Geyserville in Northern Sonoma County resulting in evacuations along Highway 128 and the community of Geyserville. Cal fire’s latest report shows an estimated 10,000 acres burned with 0% containment. As of now there is no threat to the City of Cloverdale.

Evacuation shelters are in place at the Healdsburg Community Center, 1557 Healdsburg Avenue, Healdsburg, Ca. 95448 and Santa Rosa Veteran’s Center, 1351 Maple Ave, Santa Rosa, CA 95404.

Portions of Cloverdale continue to be impacted by the Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) with no confirmed time as to when PG&E will begin to restore power. Residents without power are encouraged to visit PG&E’s Community Resource Center (CRC) located at the Citrus Fairgrounds, 1 Citrus Fair Drive, Cloverdale, Ca. 95425.

For updates and to identify service areas that may be affected by the power outage, residents should visit www.pge.com/psps and check individual addresses on PG&E’s interactive potential outage map.

The City of Cloverdale has prepared for the PSPS Event. The Police Department will continue to patrol neighborhoods and stay visible to ensure the safety of the community. The Public Works Department has prepared critical infrastructure.
