Stabbing 1800 Block August St

On 10-23-19 at approximately 11:15pm, Green Bay Police received a call of a male that had his throat cut with a knife and was headed to a local hospital from the 1800 block of August St on Green Bay’s east side where the incident occurred. Police made contact with the male as he arrived at the hospital and began administering first aid and helped bring the male inside. The victim, a 41 year old Green Bay resident, was treated for serious injuries but is expected to recover.

Green Bay patrol officers with assistance from Detectives and Forensics personnel investigated the matter throughout the night, and a 55 year-old male Green Bay resident was later taken into custody and jailed for 1st Degree Reckless Injury. The suspect and the victim knew each other, and there is no ongoing danger to the public at this time.
