Venancio on receiving distinguished public service awards for their contributions to the Violent Crime Initiative to Improve Public Safety in Newark today at the 67th Annual Attorney General's Awards Ceremony in Washington D.C. today.
United States Attorney for the District of New Jersey Craig Carpenito also expressed pride that our law enforcement officers were chosen for the awards along with members of the New Jersey State Police, Essex County Prosecutor’s Office and the Essex County Sheriffs Department.
