Landline phone outage affecting parts of Sugar Hill:

McDowell County 911 is working diligently to get answers from Frontier on the extent of this outage and an estimated time of repair.  Citizens can report emergencies by going to the Sugar Hill Fire Department.  We also encourage citizens to try to text 911, as some texts will transmit to the 911 Center, even in areas with poor cell reception.
