This afternoon, Bluffton Police Department received information of a possible threat to school safety at May River High. The school was placed on lockdown for the safety of students, while the possible threat was investigated and the school was searched by law enforcement. During the investigation and search of the school, no threat was identified, and the lockdown was lifted.
