Community Warning: Suspicious person at Codornices Park

Since May 2019, there have been 4 reported suspicious incidents at Codornices Park involving a person approaching and initiating inappropriate sexual-related conversations with boys (age 5-9 years old).
 
The suspicious person is described as a White male teen, 12-18 years old, 5’6” to 5’10” tall, with a thin build, blonde/brown hair and braces on his teeth.  The suspicious person has also been seen on a blue or green bike—wearing a light-colored bicycle helmet.
 
If you are visiting Codornices Park with your child, we encourage parents and guardians to:

  • Speak with your child about the dangers of talking with strangers,
  • Maintain supervision of your child throughout the park, and
  • Immediately report any suspicious activity.
