Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators responded to assist Los Angeles County Probation Department with a shooting. The incident occurred Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at approximately 12:45 p.m., on the 24000 block of South Wilmington Avenue, Carson.
Los Angeles County Probation Officers were at the location to execute an arrest warrant. When they made contact with the suspect inside the house, he confronted the probation officer with a stabbing instrument and a shooting occurred.
The suspect, a 57 years-old man, was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
