INCIDENT: PC 311.11 Possession of Child Pornography, 311.1(a) Manufacturing of child pornography and 311.3 (a) Sexual exploitation of a minor
LOCATION: Phelan
VICTIM: Seven-year-old male
SUSPECT: Johnny Rabe, 23 years old, resident of Phelan
SUMMARY:
On Monday, October 21, 2019, Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Special Investigations Bureau (SIB), obtained information that Johnny Rabe was sexually molesting an adolescent male and the crimes occurred in the community of Phelan. SIB investigators also learned Rabe was in possession of child pornography. SIB contacted the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Crimes Against Children Division (CAC) and provided the information to investigators.
Following an extensive investigation, detectives from CAC determined Rabe sexually molested a seven-year-old victim and was in possession of child pornography. CAC detectives, in collaboration with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Specialized Enforcement Detail (SED), arrested Rabe on Monday October 21, 2019. Rabe was booked at Central Detention Center for PC 311.11 Possession of Child Pornography, 311.1(a) Manufacturing of child pornography and 311.3 (a) Sexual exploitation of a minor. Rabe bail was set at $250,000.
