Coastal Flood Advisory until 03:00PM Wednesday
...MINOR COASTAL FLOODING WILL CONTINUE SOUTH OF PORT ARANSAS THROUGH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON... .Above normal astronomical tides, with levels near 1.5 feet above expected, will result in coastal flooding during high tide tonight through Wednesday morning along the barrier islands from Port Aransas south to Baffin Bay. This advisory includes the adjacent bays and intracoastal waterways. Tide levels are expected to exceed 2 feet Mean Sea Level, or at least 1 foot of inundation, near the times of high tide. Water is expected to reach into the dunes and limit access to beach roads.
* COASTAL FLOODING...Minor coastal flooding during times of high tide.
* TIMING...Coastal flooding during times of high tide. The next high tide at Bob Hall Pier is 108 AM Wednesday. High tide at Port Aransas is 440 AM Wednesday. High tide at Packery Channel is at 1000 AM Wednesday. High tide at Nueces Bay is at 231 PM Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Poor driving conditions are expected in low areas around bays and coastal waterways. Some roads may become impassable.
* AFFECTED AREAS: COASTAL KLEBERG ... COASTAL NUECES ... COASTAL SAN PATRICIO ... KLEBERG ISLANDS ... NUECES ISLANDS
