Escondido Police Seek Help Solving Hit-and-Run Case

On October 16, 2019 at 4:38 PM, Escondido Police and Fire responded to a report of a serious-injury motorcycle versus vehicle collision in the 200 block of W. Washington Avenue in Escondido.

The driver of a white, Ford F-150 single-cab pick-up fled the scene of the collision. Witnesses described the driver as a a Hispanic male between 35 and 40 years of age with a mustache. At the time of the collision, the driver was wearing a gray shirt and baseball cap. There was a female in the passenger seat and a child sitting in between the driver and passenger.

The Ford F-150 will have damage to the rear passenger side tailgate and tail light assembly. The first two digits on the license plate MAY be 8F. The attached photo is an actual photo of the F-150 at the collision scene.
