National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day On Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 10AM to 2PM @ Cranbury Township Police Department

DEA National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day

On Saturday, October 26, 2019, from 10 am to 2 pm, the Cranbury Township Police Department is taking part in DEA National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. This one-day event will provide residents with no cost anonymous collection of unwanted and expired medicines. Chief Varga continues to urge our residents to safely dispose of their unused, unwanted, and expired medication in the safest way possible. The campaign calls on residents to clear out their medicine cabinets. Unused medications in homes create a public health and safety concern, because they can be accidentally ingested, stolen, misused, and abused by children and adults alike.

Spread the word to your friends and neighbors to clear out their medicine cabinets. Prescription medication in the form of pills, tablet or capsule, can be disposed of at the Cranbury Township Police Headquarters, located at 1 Logan Drive, Cranbury, NJ 08512 from the hours of 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday October 26, 2019. Medications should be taken out of their original containers and placed into paper/plastic bags. No liquids, syringes or sharp objects of any type will be accepted.
