The victim in this incident has been identified as 48-year-old New Castle resident James Broadnax.

Wilmington Police are investigating a fatal shooting incident that occurred at approximately 10:11 a.m. in the 300 block of North Franklin Street.
Police located a 48-year-old male gunshot victim who was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
