Coastal Flood Advisory until 08:00AM Tuesday
...MINOR COASTAL FLOODING WILL CONTINUE... . Higher than normal astronomical tides will result in coastal flooding during high tide overnight along the barrier islands, including along the adjacent bays and intracoastal waterways, of the Middle Texas Coast. Tide levels are expected to exceed 2 feet Mean Sea Level, or at least 1 foot of inundation, near the times of high tide. Water is expected to reach into the dunes and limit access to beach roads.
* COASTAL FLOODING...Minor coastal flooding with tide levels around 2 feet above mean sea level (1 foot inundation).
* TIMING...The next high tide at Nueces Bay will occur at 833 AM CDT Monday.
* IMPACTS...Poor driving conditions are expected in low areas around bays and coastal waterways. Some roads may become impassable.
* AFFECTED AREAS: COASTAL KLEBERG ... COASTAL NUECES ... COASTAL CALHOUN ... COASTAL SAN PATRICIO ... COASTAL ARANSAS
