Police investigators identify person of interest allegedly involved in a Theft of Property.

Investigators of the Jackson Police Department have identified the lady wanted for the theft of a bag of money from Walmart on October 10th. The person of interest personally contacted Jackson Police Investigators and returned the entire contents of the bag.  According to Police Investigators, the woman will not be charged for Theft of Property. 

On October 10th, a local businessman paying for items at a self-check inside of Walmart, 2196 Emporium Drive, was robbed of his money bag by an unidentified black female wearing glassess and a long gray sweater.  Surveillance video captures the woman picking up the money bag from the register and leaving the store.  The bag contained approximately $2200.00.  Surveillance video also captures the unidentified female opening the bag and verifying the contents.  The female was last seen leaving in a light colored full size pick-up truck with an extended cab.
